after 6 months of hanging around in Munich (Germany) without PC and internet at home, my internship is finally finished and i went back to my university. as the period of killing freetime is over, im now part of the civilization again. even better, i earned enough money to buy a dual-XP1800 and beside having my lovely ICQ and Email, it seems like this winter will be the first time im able to play TO with more than 15 FPS at 800x600 :)

due to my study (research project & diploma exams) i have to reduce my TO related activities to a minimum. before the end of this year i'll try to continue my old tasks: new HUD, startmenu, ActorResetter, custom actors. furthermore my new PC should allow me to have much more fun with UED. maybe i'll eventually finish this damn TO-TerrorMansion map soon :)
next week i'll start to set up a >>> TO-logo contest <<< on
tactical-ops.de 
(yes, we still need a logo for our cool game *sigh*). this international contest won't be limited to the german community - everybody (except core-team members) can show us his/her photoshop skills. and, of course, the best logo will win a cool prize!

unfortunately there is not so much time for freaking things left. i'll probably update my personal homepage and tweak some things here and there. oh, and im currently writing a new tool called
ICQMerge that will be able to browse and merge several ICQ databases (e.g. from backups) - i think that's something the world is already waiting for... and i almost finished cracking the *seeeecret* database format and structure =)
